So much to do! What will you choose this weekend?
First up, the Thrift Shop will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for your shopping pleasure. Bargains abound at the CCNF Thrift Shop. Please wear a mask as you peruse the racks.
At the worship service Sunday at 10 a.m., we will be celebrating the Boy Scouts of our congregation. The uniformed scouts will present the flag and recite the Scout Oath, Law and Prayer.
It will also be Communion Sunday, and fellowship time will follow after the service. Please stop in to Pilgrim Hall and spend some time with your church family this Sunday.
That will be the time to Get Soapy! We are having a Bundles of Care drive, and hope folks will bring donations of bar soap, body wash, laundry detergent, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, etc., to church. See our earlier post about the drive for more details. Donations can be dropped off in Pilgrim Hall after the service.
Then there’s the ice cream! There will be a Make Your Own Sundae Sunday at 7 p.m. for the Appalachian Service Project team youth and anyone
who might be thinking about joining the ASP mission trip this July. Come find out more about the experience from those who have gone before, and find out why they want to go again!
