Do to precautions, the church building is closed for 2 weeks, including the Thrift Shop.
The Thrift Shop has become quite popular with the community largely due to the installation of the St. Pauly Textile drop-off shed, donations from the public and the dedication of our hard-working volunteers. Items are sorted and sold in the shop for $8 per bagful with some items priced separately. In addition to our regular sales, 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month, we donate items such as towels and shoes to NF/Sherman Animal Welfare, infant/children’s clothes to Jericho, Sue Webb’s winter coat drive, and anyone we know who is in need. St. Pauly Textile pays us monthly for items we do not want or need. A percentage of that income plus a percentage from our regular shop sales are shared with the church’s general fund.
