The youth and leaders on CCNF’s ASP Team are hard at work in Carter County, Tennessee. The Appalachian Service Project aims to make homes warmer, safer and drier for residents whose homes aren’t up to snuff in any or all of those regards, and this year, the crews from New Fairfield are even working on building some new homes from the ground up.

But how do they keep their spirits up doing all this work in the first week of July? There’s clearly time for some fun and imagination, as these next photos illustrate.

A frog was found at one worksite. And you know what a frog signifies, don’t you? Fully Rely On God!

And since many hands make light work, why not grow your team as one crew did at their worksite? Let’s hope those freshly grown team members were ready to spring out of their patches of earth and get to work on Tie-Dye Tuesday!

We look forward to our team’s return home this weekend, and to hearing from them what their ASP experience meant to them. Keep an eye out here and on our Facebook page for more photos!
