Our senior youth and leaders are wrapping up their  work trip in West Virginia and returning home this weekend.

Reports from the field indicate that in addition to getting some much-needed jobs done for area residents, the team managed to have some fun as well. Here are some pictures from the team’s picnic:

Who knows what role you might fulfill during an ASP work trip? You might even serve as a chariot!

The team accomplished several different jobs while in West Virginia. They formed three different work crews and each crew adopted a name. The crews were: The Ramones, Lightning McQueen and The King. Now, if you’re a Pixar fan, you know the common thread of these crew names. But consider the possibility that the names could have more than one meaning.

Anyway, the jobs the crews got done included building a staircase, demolishing a playground, fixing a floor and more. We can look forward to hearing about the week when the crews get home and share their stories during the July 24th service.

Meanwhile, here are some more pictures of youth at work:

Some jobs require real teamwork!
