Our senior high youth and leaders arrived safely in Kanawha County, WV, this past weekend.

They were warmly welcomed by Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, their host for the week. The church even placed photos from our website on the welcome screen for our team!

Since then, the team has been enjoying fun and games AND work. The group played their first spoons tournament of the trip, and got right to work on their job sites.

Time for a popsicle break for one of the 2022 ASP crews from CCNF during construction of a staircase in Kanawha County, WV.

And that colorful group shot of the whole team that you saw way up top was taken on Tie-Dye Tuesday. Before leaving CT, the group met to create their own tie-dyed t-shirts to wear on the Tuesday of their week-long work trip. They did a spectacular job with those shirts, don’t you think?

Please keep the prayers going for our youth and leaders as they continue working to make homes warmer, safer and drier in Appalachia!
