Your generosity during our Sept. 17th food drive at Stop & Shop translated into a ton of food being donated to area programs! And that’s not just a figure of speech. One agency measured the donation they received from this drive and it was over 1,000 lbs. of food!
And that was only part of what was donated through this event. Food and other essentials were donated to New Fairfield Food Pantry, ARC, Dorothy Day, and Bundles of Care.
Thank you to everyone who took a food drive shopping list with them into the grocery store on the 17th to help fill the pantries. You are making a difference to your neighbors!
