- Worship service is held Sunday at 10:00 a.m. through mid-September in the Garden (inside when it rains). After mid-September, worship will resume every Sunday in the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m.
- Communion service is held on the first Sunday of every month
COMMUNION
The Sacrament of Communion is central to our belief that God welcomes all people; therefore, there are no restrictions on partaking. Our table is open to all. This includes the youngest among us; the age at which a child can receive Communion is determined by their parents.
In our tradition the congregation remains seated and waits for all to be served before partaking of the elements. In an effort to make the table accessible to all, we use grape juice in the cup. Water is also available on each tray. There is also a gluten free alternative on each plate. Care is taken so there is no contact with the regular bread.
During the summer, Communion is served by intinction. The congregation is invited to come forward, break a piece of bread and dip it in the cup. The server will come to those people who remain seated.
