Reverend Elizabeth Yoho, Pastor

Pastor Liz, was ordained and installed in our sanctuary on June 2nd, 2019.  Previously, she has been both a volunteer and staff member for over 30 years.  Over that time, Liz did a fabulous job working with children from pre-school through high school as our Christian Education Director. She had been involved with children’s ministry, as well as engaging our High School youth through our annual service trip to Appalachia each summer. Liz’s spiritual growth and call lead her to attend Andover Newton Theological School in MA.  Our congregation offered her the Settled Pastor Position, and we were overjoyed when she accepted. Liz and her husband, Tracy, are the parents of 2 adult children, Brandon and Meredith and share their home with their two dogs, Tucker and Watson.

Carl Anderson
Reverend Carl Anderson, Minister of Music

Carl Anderson is the Minister of Music. He is also an Ordained Minister in the United Church of Christ. Carl’s full time ministry is as Director of the Spiritual Services Department at Masonicare. Music is the joyous noise of our service. The senior choir, ageless bells, solo student musicians, Holy Skits, and African drumming circle – all contribute to the harmony. Carl, along with his wife, Betsy, also directs our annual summer musical theater production for young people. The summer play is in its 20th year. Youth from around the area vie to be part of the show. Check in May for information on try-outs for the cast, and how to join the technical crew. Whether you can act, sing, paint, sew, or buy a ticket to the show, Carl and Betsy would love to hear from you. Margaret, Betsy and Carl’s daughter is active in Church School, Compassionate Kids, and the Summer Play.
