The Congregational Church of New Fairfield hosts

Global Prayers for Peace

March 8, 7 p.m.

CCNF invites all members of the New Fairfield community to join in a global prayer and meditation event on March 8, International Women’s Day.  The event is being organized by Unify, an organization dedicated to “creating a living demonstration of our underlying unity and an Emerging Planetary Culture which embraces the interdependence and well-being of all”.  Please check out their Facebook page for more information:  https://www.facebook.com/Global-Sisterhood-315309372198226/

We will be connected virtually with people around the global in sending a wave of kindness, compassion, connection, and peace into the world.  Mona Polacca, a Hopi/Havasupai elder of the International Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, will be offering a live global synchronized prayer.

People of all ages, genders and faiths are welcome.  You do not need to have a meditation practice to participate, just the intention to pray for peace and justice in our world.  For more information, please contact Rev. Laura Westby at 203-746-2865 or ccnfpastor@gmail.com
